Our schools are very special places to be.  We have a truly committed and dedicated team, children who embody our school values and a building and facilities which are extensive and provide opportunities both inside and out.  Our curriculum is designed with our children in mind; it is exciting, provides opportunities for learning in a variety of ways and ensures that children are aware of their own community, local history and diversity in their city and their place in the world whilst opening their minds to the possibilities and creativity that exist for them. It runs right through from EYFS in the infant school to year 6 in the junior school.   There is more information about our curriculum here.

At Chellaston Infant and  Junior Schools, we only have three rules.

These simple rules help the children and adults to ensure that they are always thinking of others as well as themselves and everyone considers their actions and the way they speak and act around everyone. The support that everyone gives each other makes us a compassionate and exciting team.

Visits to the schools by prospective parents and families are most welcome.  Please contact the office at either school to make an appointment to meet with me or one of our senior leadership team.
